Siri successfully ported running on Apple’s servers

Hackers Chpwn and Stroughtonsmith have successfully ported Siri (an iPhone 4S only voice activation app) to the iPhone 4 and the iPod touch 4th generation with hopes to work on iPhone 3GS soon.  Previously they were only able to port the GUI but now they have been able to trick Apple’s servers to believe Siri is running on the iPhone 4S.  Below is a video of Siri fully running on an iPod touch 4th generation.

Although this is great news, don’t expect to get siri on your iDevice any time soon.

“Siri on my iPod touch, by myself and @stroughtonsmith. No public release soon; don’t ask.” tweeted via Chpwn
