Don’t have the money to buy an iPhone 4S but really want Siri? Well don’t worry, hackers Chpwn and Stroughtonsmith have been hard at work. They have already successfully ported Siri to the iPhone 4 and the iPod 4th generation and today that have successfully ported Siri to the iPhone 3GS. This is great news for everyone including me because I still am using the iPhone 3GS. Chpwn and Stroughtonsmith have even fully tricked Apple’s servers to work with unsupported devices. Don’t get too excited though, Chpwn and Stroughtonsmith don’t want to associate Jailbreaking with piracy so they are holding back on releasing it to the public. We will only see Siri on unsupported devices when they figure out a legal way to distribute Siri. Until then, stay updated with iPhone Informant for apple related updates.
